This site is designed to be a resource for prospective homeowners as well as existing homeowners of the Stones Crossing Subdivision.
The Stones Crossing Subdivision was established in 2002 by Gunstra Builders. It was later sold to Atlas Excavating who oversaw the maintenance of the common areas, empty lots, and paid the electric bill for the street lights. In February 2014, the remaining lots in the development were sold to Wea Development LLC.
The Stones Crossing Subdivision Homeowners Association, Inc. was certified as a Non-Profit Corporation on February 21, 2014 by the Indiana Secretary of State. Every person who is an Owner of a Lot in Sections 1, 2, 3, and 4 is a Class A member of the Stones Crossing Subdivision Homeowners Association.
The Stones Crossing Homeowners Association pays for the installation of streetlights, the electricity for the streetlights, the maintenance and mowing of the common areas, insurance, and administrative expenses. Every lot owner in the subdivision is assessed their share of these expenses. The current assessment is $120 per year and is due by January 31 of each year.
All homeowners who wish to add or alter fences, sheds, or other exterior improvements in Stones Crossing Subdivision must complete the Architectural Approval Request Form and submit it to the Stones Crossing HOA Board.
You should review the Stones Crossing Covenants to make sure the project is not specifically disallowed. Applications are approved on a case by case basis after ensuring it is in "harmony of external design and location in relation
to surrounding structures".
